Graduate Programs Open Week offers undergraduate and graduate students, as well as working professionals, the opportunity to learn more about the variety of graduate programs offered at the University of Calgary through interactives webinars, campus tours and information sessions. 

Open Week consists of both virtual and in-person events, allowing future students to interact with faculty, staff and current graduate students.

What you can expect during Open Week

Open Week is a weeklong event for future graduate students. It’s your opportunity to connect with Faculties, explore 225+ graduate credentials and gain valuable insight into life at UCalgary.

Webinars will provide details on program structure, research opportunities and course offerings.

Campus Tours

Explore different buildings, labs and spaces where you'll be studying and conducting research.

In-person Sessions

In-person sessions offer an opportunity to learn more about a specific graduate program, admission requirements and career options.

  1. Master of Public Policy (MPP) Online Information Session

    The University of Calgary's Master of Public Policy (MPP) program is a one-year integrated program that emphasizes a practical and focused approach to learning how public policy impacts our economy, our politics, and our lives. The program is designed to prepare students for work opportunities in business, government, research institutions, and NGO's.

    During the tour, you will see classrooms, design studios, a digital fabrication lab and robotics, the event hall, and the City Building Gallery of student research work! We will also provide an overview of the course-based professional and thesis-based research degrees at SAPL.
