Preparing your application

You are encouraged to apply for awards when you have submitted your admissions application and received your University of Calgary student number (UCID). You are not required to meet the eligibility requirements in the terms of reference of an award when you apply, but if successful, you must meet the eligibility requirements at the time the award is paid.

The terms of reference containing application details for all awards can be found on the Graduate Awards Database. 

Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES): Contact your graduate program in late January for application information.

Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES) - Research: This award is administered through the Tri-Agency CGSM and Doctoral competitions.

Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES) - Indigenous: Consult the Indigenous Graduate Award Competition

Alberta Graduate Excellence Scholarship (AGES) – International: All eligible students who applied to the current Graduate Award Competition will automatically be considered for this award
