Family Physician, MA, PhD in Medical EducationAreas of Research
Medical Education
I am interested in all areas of medical education. I am especially interested in human dimensions of clinical care, in particular, doctor-patient relationships, caring, human experiences. My PhD work and current research focuses on the role of the senses (in particular touch) and embodied interactions, non-verbal communication, and the intersection between data, technology and touch. I use predominantly qualitative research methodologies, and have an interest in phenomenology and arts-based qualitative research but flexible and always willing to try new approaches.
