Prof. Naser El-Sheimy, Editor-in-Chief of “Geomatics"

The department is pleased to announce that Prof. Naser El-Sheimy has taken on the role of Editor-in-Chief for “Geomatics" with a conviction that it will satisfy a long-recognized need for an interdisciplinary journal in geomatics engineering and science.

MDPI Geomatics (ISSN 2673-7418) is an international and interdisciplinary peer-reviewed open access journal, published quarterly online by MDPI. Geomatics covers fields including surveying and mapping, positioning and navigation, satellite positioning, geodesy, photogrammetry, cartography and cadastral, hydrography, remote sensing, spatial data analysis, spatial information science, and geographic information systems.
