Working with this supervisor
Perspective students should have strong background in applied and computational mathematics and high level computing skills. Enthusiasm on development of new methods and applying computational methods for solving real-world problems is important. Possible research projects/topics include numerical solution to time-dependent PDEs, computational methods for seismic inversion problems, efficient and accurate numerical methods for seisimic imaging problems and applictions in energy industry, inverse modelling and adjoint analysis.
