My research focuses on the ecology, conservation, and population biology of lemurs. Current projects focus on lemur community ecology and functional diversity in continuous, fragmented, and reforested landscapes in the southeastern rain forests of Madagascar.

Prospective students may hold undergraduate degrees in biological anthropology, biology, zoology, ecology and evolution, or related subjects. Field experience, especially in the tropics, would be very helpful. Interested students should contact me to discuss research interests and goals.
