Areas of Research
We develop point- of - care molecular diagnostic tests to enable rapid, facile and early detection of disease propagation, patient-centered care, and outbreak mitigation
We develop biosensors that can track the molecular level of biomarkers when worn by people. These molecular "Lab on Body" devices empower the current capacity of wearable technology.
We develop free-standing flexible electronic sensors and actuators to enable tissue engineering, drug discovery and therapeutic application
We develop sensing devices to quantify and alleviate propagation of environmental hazard and its effects on human population
Working with this supervisor
Our lab works at the interface of Materials Engineering, Life-sciences, and Electrical Engineering to develop bio-integrated electronic systems with a wide variety of applications such as healthcare, military, environment, and personal care. Our vision is to create disruptive technologies by using a multidisciplinary and translational approach to empower people.
