The successful candidate for both M Sc and Ph D positions should possess outstanding written and oral communication skills, hold a degree with high GPA from one of top ranked institutions (scholarships/awards is an asset), have published in reputable refereed conferences and journals, have experience in presenting their research at international or local conferences, and have been involved in some event planning, competition judging, team building, mentoring or other outreach activities. Additional experience with lecturing, student supervision, grant writing, paper refereeing, conference organization or program committee service is an asset, especially when applying for a Ph D. For all applicants, it is highly recommended to provide a link to their professional or personal web site with a list of research projects, published papers, citations, their professional affiliations (such as IEEE or ACM student memberships), and LinkedIn or GoogleScholar profile.
