My research program is currently focused on examining and describing the influence of ethnicity, culture, and gender on cardiovascular disease symptoms, access to care, and secondary prevention activities. I have expertise in qualitative methods, specifically grounded theory, as well as in quantitative methods such as surveys and randomized controlled trials.
