Areas of Research
My primary area of research applies a strengths-based approach to working with children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder ADHD). I am interested in better understanding the abilities of these children and work towards increasing their success at home, at school, and in the community. Current areas of interest include mental health, knowledge of ADHD, stigma, physical activity, teacher knowledge of ADHD, theory of mind, executive functioning, and intervention applications in k-12 and university environments.
