Critical Approaches to Contemporary Urbanization
My research has focused a broad range of topics in contemporary urbanization that include but are not limited to: sustainability, environmental justice, racial segregation, urban governance, the economics of culture, and the role of universities in urban development. I have regional specialties in both Northern Europe and the Southern United States. I am currently working on a research project that investigates the production of geospatial knowledge for the development of unconventional hydrocarbons.
