Lung infections associated with the genetic disease cystic fibrosis. Molecular mechanisms of Bacterial infections. Regulation of expression of bacterial virulence factors. Lung microbiomes and their interaction with bacterial pathogens, Quorum sensing and its role in regulation of gene expression of bacterial pathogens. Competition between pathogens and normal flora in lung infections.
