Areas of Research

Stem Cells
In my lab we study the genetic control of the balance between stem cell proliferation and differentiation. For this we use the C. elegans germ line as a model.
microRNA level control
We study how protein levels of the microRNA-induced silencing complex (miRISC) are regulated such that they are in proper abundance relative to microRNA levels
