Areas of Research
Electricity markets, energy transition, climate policy
My research focusses on electricity markets with emphasis on decarbonization and electrification. Topics covered include supply side (renewables intermittency, low carbon supply policies, market design, and transmission issues) and demand side (flexible demand programs, electric vehicle smart charging, tariff response). Students are able to work on topics of their choosing, with overlapping interest in the broader research agenda related to electricity markets.
