We use light to solve society challenges – The Heyne’s research group is a diverse, collaborative, and interdisciplinary team who combines organic photochemistry with nanotechnology to create innovative solutions that tackle some of the most pressing challenges faced by society. From designing light activated nanomaterials to combat antimicrobial resistance or decontaminating mask that protect healthcare workers to engineering novel security ink, the Heyne’s research group serves everyone, and thus believes in including everyone.
