  1. Student Business Analyst

    Analyze business and technical processes within Advancement Services' gift processing, identify areas for process improvement/streamlining, and develop solutions to enhance operational efficiency. The intern will work closely with stakeholders across teams to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure that business needs are met through effective use of technology and data.

  1. Archival Metadata Assistant

    Assist with the analysis, creation, and updating of metadata access points for archival collections. This position will familiarize students with the professional environment of the Archives, with the practical knowledge of how records are arranged and described, and the value of accurate and targeted user-centric metadata creation. Primary responsibilities include: analyzing current metadata for archival records; creating metadata for specified archives using approved access point references; identifying and updating existing metadata in the software Access to Memory; other project related duties as required including some work with photographs and digital services.

  1. Special Projects Assistant

    Conduct an environmental scan of ombuds office operations within the U15. This work will include an overview of key functions of the Ombuds role, and services provided to the campus community through the Ombuds office. Research will include review of staffing models, advocacy work, and use of student staff/interns within the office. The assistant will also conduct best practice research more broadly, and examine emerging trends in ombuds work within the post-secondary context.
