Tri-Agency Update
The Tri-agencies have announced important updates to the Vanier CGS and Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships programs.
The current 2025 Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (results released in mid-April 2025) and the Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships (results released in mid-February 2025) will be the final competitions for these programs.
The University of Calgary Faculty of Graduate Studies has not yet received any details regarding the updated suite of talent programs.
We expect to receive further information in Spring/Summer 2025. Once the information is received, the Graduate Award Office within the Faculty of Graduate Studies will review the new competition processes and timelines required and provide details via information sessions and GRADpost/GRADvisor as soon as possible.
