Dr. Jeff Van Humbeck, PhD
Associate Dean, Policy and Program Development
Dr. Jeff Van Humbeck is the Associate Dean of Policy and Program Development in the Faculty of Graduate Studies. This role leads the development and ongoing refinement of academic regulations, policies, and procedures for graduate education, while ensuring clear communication and consistent application across programs. Working closely with faculties and campus partners, the Associate Dean supports the development, approval, and implementation of new graduate programs and updates to existing ones, while also ensuring fairness and equity in academic decision-making and regulatory processes.
Dr. Van Humbeck is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and holds an M.A. and Ph.D. (Chemistry) from Princeton University and a BSc (Chemistry) from the University of Calgary.
