Areas of Research
I am a cardiac electrophysiologist and Assistant Professor. My research focuses on clinical and health outcomes studies related to atrial fibrillation, and cardiac implantable electronic devices for heart failure. I also help to lead the research activities of APPROACH, a longstanding Alberta-based cardiac registry (www.approach.org; Twitter: @Approach_org). One emerging aspect of this work this work is the use of APPROACH data and software to develop and test clinical prediction scores, clinical decision supports, and tools for shared decision making.
