Urban History
I specialize in the history of the 19th century United States, and within that area I also study the history of cities. At the undergraduate level I teach a course on cities in world history. I am also a member of the Urban Studies Research Group at the University of Calgary. I am willing to supervise graduate-level urban history topics provided that I have some familiarity with the particular topic.
