Dr. Seitz has research training in clinical epidemiology and health services research and his research examines the epidemiology of mental health disorders, health service utilization of older adults with psychiatric disorders; evaluation of the safety and efficacy of treatments for geriatric mental health conditions; and, knowledge translation in geriatric mental health. He is interested in clinical pathways for best practices in mental health and dementia care in community and long-term care settings.
