Dr. Far’s research is in the intersection of software engineering (SE), software quality assurance (SQA) and distributed artificial intelligence (DAI). He has focused research on engineering of intelligent, distributed and heterogeneous networked systems, specifically on design, implementation, testing and verification of agent-based software systems. Dr. Far has established Intelligent Software Systems (ISS) Laboratory of the Schulich School of Engineering, and is a co-director of the Intelligent Transportation Lab, University of Calgary.
