Areas of Research
My area of interest is Inborn Errors of Metabolism. My profile is focussed on mitochondrial, lysosomal storage, bone and cardiac diseases. My research work is in clinical trials. In addition, working with collaborators that do bench research, a number of my students have also performed work in laboratories looking at diagnostic and therapeutic methods for metabolic diseases.

Candidate must have a good knowledgeable of the disease groups that are in my research interest. They will need to have a research question of their own that they would like to pursue and must be able to work independently. They will need to have good communication skills since almost all work is in collaboration with basic science and clinical researchers. Candidates must have good academic standing.
