Research interests: (1) Advanced satellite-borne plasma instrumentation and mass spectrometry; (2) Aeronomy and plasma composition and dynamics of the Earth (and other planetary) ionosphere and magnetosphere Current research activities: Observational studies of plasma outflows and auroral dynamics in the topside polar ionosphere; lead science operation of Enhanced Polar Outflow Probe (e-POP) on Canadian CASSIOPE satellite as CASSIOPE/e-POP Mission Scientist.
