Important Funding Information
Graduate student funding comes from many different sources – it can come from a single source or a combination of sources:
- supervisors, programs, scholarships, awards, research grants, graduate assistantships, training grants, governments, foundations, private donors, third party sponsors and more.
It is important for you to understand this information and know how to get paid. Read Important Funding Information
International Graduate Students
International Graduate students are eligible for many of the awards. See the International Students link to see what you may be eligible for and check the Award Timeline for International Students to see the month in which the applications are due.

Policies and Regulations
Make sure you understand the Policies & Guidelines regarding awards. It is your responsibility to make sure you are eligible and have met all the requirements specified.
- There are restrictions concerning multiple awards.
- If you realize you are no longer eligible for an award you have received, you must inform the Graduate Scholarship Office immediately.
- If you receive a scholarship payment(s) and you are not eligible, you will be required to repay the money you have received.
