My recent work has focused on the effects of schools and neighborhoods on educational attainment, the effects of affirmative action on student effort, and the landscape of intergenerational mobility in Canada. I generally work with large-scale Canadian and U.S. administrative datasets to quantify the causal impact of education and labor market policies.
